When Munich’s classical sculptural traditions collide with Pegasus’s cutting-edge manufacturing capabilities, art gains a vitality that transcends centuries.
During the production of Landscape, Pegasus Factory was deeply involved in every stage, from structural refinement to bronze casting. To replicate Klaus Richter’s exacting requirements for natural textures, we developed a custom dual-tone surface treatment process. By merging traditional bronze chemical patination with modern mineral pigments, we precisely simulated the captivating red and yellow hues of Sydney sandstone.
We applied a subtle pearlescent luster at the junctions of the sculpture’s interior and exterior, utilizing light refraction to enhance the three-dimensional structure of the bronze form. This piece stands as a testament to Pegasus’s leading expertise in complex, large-scale bronze casting—ensuring that the artwork achieves museum-grade precision while maintaining the durability to withstand harsh coastal climates.
