When precision manufacturing meets minimalist art. Pegasus Factory recently unveiled the complete execution of artist Sarah Chen’s latest public art collection—“Lunar Tide.”
Our team assisted the artist in transforming her signature large-scale metal concepts into physical reality. To meet Sarah Chen’s exacting standards for light and shadow reflection, the Pegasus team performed multiple rounds of manual putty leveling and precision spray-coating on the structural surfaces.
The final result features a matte white base contrasted with high-gloss metallic gold lacquer on key focal points, creating a powerful visual hierarchy that balances the serenity of plaster with the radiance of gold. The collection consists of individual pieces titled “Surge,” “Lunar Flux,” and “Tidal Harmony.” Situated along the banks of the Qiantang River, these works establish a boundary-crossing sensory experience. This project is not only a testament to Pegasus’s fabrication craftsmanship but also a profound expression of the artist’s vision: merging China’s ancient waterways with contemporary architectural space.
